Assignment 3 - Costume/props planning

The characters wear different outfits so that they're recognized as different people. They use different props and costumes to show this.

The victim; Isabella, wears average teenager clothes, this mainly consists of jeans and t-shirts to show that she is normal and completely average until paranormal things start happening to her, and she starts seeing things everywhere. She is shown as weak, helpless and vulnerable. The nightmares she starts seeing in real life completely scare her and make her feel lost and confused.

The victims mother comes in at one scene, she is wearing glasses and her hair is tied up, making her look older and adding to the conventions of a worried mother.

The therapist wears a white doctors coat, she wears glasses and her hair is tied up making her look very professional, formal and into her work. She is seated at her office and asks serious questions about the girls dreams.

The monster wears all black to which connotes the mysteriousness and scariness. The monster also wears a white mask this adds to the mysteriousness of the film, and also makes the audience wonder what is under the mask, and if he'll ever take it off. He is usually found at random areas, and sometimes has props with him such as a knife, that he uses to scrape the wall.
